This section is dedicated to those cases of cruelty, bad treatments and inhuman behavior that we have gone picking up during these years. Our hope is not to have to enlarge it.
We notice you that some of the images can hurt your sensibility for their crudeness, but it is necessary that everybody knows what is happening in our country with many animals that are mistreated, wounded, sacrificed and tortured without the authorities really enter to condemn these facts.

Picked up greyhound the 05/02/05 near Albacete. He has a fracture open of the paw rear right, like you can see in the pictures, the one also has a strong bruise with possibility of something of tendon in the other paw, although it supports her, and other small ones wounded. He is very thin one. He is a young male. It was in a hollow leaving you to die, because I imagine the tremendous pain that was happening. We have left it in the clinic, after curing him the wounds, to put him antibiotics and antinflamatory, because taenia 40 of fever, for infection. He has also been put morphine for the pain and the poor person has given a sigh of tranquility that almost makes us cry.
Greyhound found by the hung protector's volunteers the last month of October of 2003 in an outlying neighborhood of Albacete. Who knows how many they finish their days of service to the master this way.
This poor puppy of Belgian shepherd spent weeks in a surrounded balcony of garbages and of his own excrementes, bundle to the grill of the window without hardly to be able to move. The neighbors tossed him food from the near balconies and they tried to put him it dilutes by means of a cube and a rope. Finally the dog arrived at the protector's shelter, where he died to the 3 days it kills of the parvovirosis, Evidently, if the food and the water were not for his master something important that can say of the vaccines. It happened in Julio 2003 in Albacete capital.

A case of sadism. This poor pastoral dog was dragged bundle to the rear part of a car when his driver, a shepherd, it was stopped by agents of the Consejería of Agriculture. You can see the state in that the animal arrived at our clinic. Fortunately our veterinarians were able to save him and it was adopted.
Rescued greyhounds of a well. The protector's 11/02/2004 members rescued from a near well to the shelter, in the highway of Jaén, two greyhounds, still alive. The civil watch passed near the well and, when hearing the noise of the patrol's car, they barked. The guards came closer to the well and they checked that somebody had hurtled inside. By means of a stairway of 4 meters we could take out them, dehydrated, but even alive. Both recovered and they were already adopted, one in Italy and another in Belgium.
Monki was found by the protector's volunteers near Albacete the last month of December of 2003. As you can see its hand it was practically reduced. You can see their complete history in happy end tales.
Paloma spent 3 days thrown in a gutter from a highway to about 2 Kms. of Albacete. A lady saw it to the every day to happen somewhere around. This lady thought that Paloma was dead, but to the fourth a day she stopped and when checking that she was still alive, she warned to the protector that assisted her until her adoption the 25/01/2004 in Germany. Paloma has fractured a hip, but doesn't impede him to carry out her normal life.
Ana, galga with multiple fracture taken place by a blow in their rear paw. It was picked up in January of 2004 by the protector's volunteers. Gisela has it in Madrid where it was operated with success.
This dog was in a parcel in the dirt road of the pulgosa, by means of Mari, he has been taken off to his owners, because of the conditions in which it was in favor, as you can see in the photos, he had been bitten by the part of down, having all opening, with a great infection and the worse was a double fracture in the inferior jaw of the mouth, reason why he was unable to chew, aside from not having any tooth. These wounds and fractures come from long time ago, reason why when taking him to the clinic, the only solution was eutanasia, at least he has let suffer.
